These terms explain how you may use Find Driving School at finddrivingschool.co.uk. They apply to visitors, learners and people who create accounts or publish driving-school listings. Please read them alongside our Privacy Policy and Anti-Scam Policies.

1. About the directory

Find Driving School helps learners find and contact driving schools and instructors. We provide the directory; individual schools and instructors provide the lessons they advertise. We are not the DVSA or DVA, and inclusion in the directory is not government approval or a guarantee of an instructor's qualifications, availability, conduct or teaching results.

2. Accounts and account security

Give accurate details when registering, keep your contact information current and complete the email verification requested by the site. Use a password that you do not share with anyone else. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access. You must have permission to act for any school or business you list. A learner under 18 should involve a parent or guardian when arranging lessons or agreeing payment terms.

3. Free listings and accurate information

Creating a standard driving-school listing is free. Lesson charges are set by each provider and are separate from our directory service. Any future optional paid directory service must show its price and conditions before you choose it.

Listings must describe genuine driving tuition or related services and use the appropriate category and location. Providers must keep names, contact details, coverage areas, transmission type, prices, qualifications and availability accurate. State what a price covers, including lesson duration, mandatory charges and any restrictions on introductory offers. Do not claim guaranteed test passes, official endorsement or qualifications you cannot substantiate.

Only upload text, logos and photographs that you own or have permission to use. Obtain appropriate permission before showing identifiable learners. Do not publish private documents, licence numbers, bank information or other people's personal details without a lawful reason.

4. Bookings, payments and cancellations

Contact the provider directly to agree lesson dates, instructor details, collection points, vehicle type, total price and payment arrangements. Ask for cancellation, refund, expiry and missed-lesson terms in writing before paying. A lesson agreement is between you and that provider. Find Driving School does not hold lesson deposits or provide an escrow or payment-protection service.

Check the provider's identity and instructor status independently. Prices and search filters are a guide to listings, not a quotation or promise of availability. We do not guarantee a number of enquiries, bookings or search positions for a listing.

5. Responsible use

Do not use the site for impersonation, fraud, harassment, unlawful discrimination, misleading claims, spam, malicious files or infringement of another person's rights. Do not collect contact details for unsolicited marketing, bypass access controls or use automated requests that disrupt the service. Any review or feedback you submit must reflect a genuine experience; fabricated or undisclosed incentivised feedback is not allowed.

6. Content ownership

You retain ownership of your content. By submitting it, you give us a non-exclusive permission to store, resize, display and distribute it as needed to operate and promote your listing within this directory. This permission ends when the content is removed, except for limited backup, security or legal retention described in our Privacy Policy. It does not transfer ownership to us.

7. Listing moderation and account restrictions

We may request corrections, restrict access or remove content where there is a reasonable concern about inaccuracy, fraud, illegality or breach of these terms. Urgent action may be needed to protect users. Where appropriate, we will explain the reason and allow you to respond. Use our Contact Us page to request a review of a decision and include the relevant listing link.

8. Availability and responsibility

We aim to keep the directory useful and available, but maintenance, technical faults or outdated provider information can affect it. Tell us about an error so we can investigate. External websites and independent providers have their own terms and privacy practices.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where that would be unlawful, including liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or death or personal injury caused by negligence. Nothing removes your statutory consumer rights or our responsibility for the services we provide. We are not responsible for an independent provider's performance merely because it appears in the directory.

9. Complaints and updates

Raise lesson or payment complaints with the provider first. Report misleading or unsafe listings to us with supporting information. We cannot promise a refund on a provider's behalf. We may update these terms for changes to the service or law and will display the revised date. Material changes affecting an ongoing service will be explained where required; updates do not retrospectively remove rights you already have.
